Pro Climate Groups Double-Down on Carl Malinga as the Leader Michigan Can Trust

WASHINGTON – Pro climate organizations, NRDC Action Votes, EDF Action Votes, and LCV Victory Fund are doubling down on their support for Carl Malinga in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District Race as a leader Michigan families can trust to fight for them in Washington. The groups are investing $500,000 behind a new ad, “Ripoff” & “Trust” that will run on digital through Election Day.

The ad highlights the clear choice Michiganders have in the race. Unlike Malinga, Congressman John James has proven that he’s only out for himself. James ripped off taxpayers millions of dollars on a failed project that he got rich off of instead. James is a reliable vote for an out of touch agenda that makes life harder for Michigan workers. “Whether it’s failing to protect clean water and the Great Lakes or failing to support next generation manufacturing jobs, John James has proven he is in Washington for one reason - to look out for himself,” said Jon Colmenares, NRDC Action Votes. “Michigan families deserve a leader they can count on, not someone who is fleecing taxpayers to line his own pockets with millions.
